Au Pair

After a loooong break I continue updating blog but now....as an Au Pair. To you who never heard of it, it is a person usually from overseas who comes to look after children and lives in a family.
I finished my working and travelling with 121 days of 2nd year visa eligible working days, over 2 months of exploring east coast (love gold coast!) and experiencing life at its best.

I started Au Pair-ing in a town near Sydney two weeks ago by having a handover from Jon, previous guy. It has been quite busy life with three boys to look after. Normal day is:
7 AM -- wake up, brekky, pack school lunch, help getting dressed.
7:50 AM -- drive to school/bus stop.
8:30 AM -- hang laundry outside, wash more laundry, general clean-up around house
Around 11am -- freedom! I'm planning on spending lots of time at the beach
3:50pm -- pick up boys from school/bus stop, snack, homework, prepare dinner, ready for afterschool sports which are usually soccer, rugby or swimming.
4-6pm back from wherever we have been. Dinner, make school lunch ready, get school uniforms ready.............do one load of wash (hopefully just one)
9-11pm own stuff
